Fake news contribution to COVID-19 pandemic: A jeopardy

Here the figure illustrates possible role of misinformation spread by indirect contribution in the progression of the COVID-19 global pandemic. Moreover, the image lists the best-measures that could have been appointed to prevent the spread of infection, but might have been delayed due to the ‘infodemic’ of unverified news. The current times very well point-out the importance of scientific communication and the power of mass-communication in determining national and international equilibrium.
